Women dressed as Internet Browsers? Not bad! This line of clothing was designed by fashion photographer Viktorija Pashuta. She’s done a great job of capturing the “attitude” unique to each browser. Although she calls Internet Explorer “flashy” — I might choose the word “crashy.”
If you want to dress like your favorite browser, click to view in hi-resolution. She’s added notes to help you find the same clothing.
Next up… operating systems for men? A tuxedo sounds about right for Linux. 🙂
What if Girls Were Internet Browsers – the fashion story I wanted to do for a long time and never had a chance to put the right team together. It required a lot of pre production and preparation since every Internet Browser had to have very specific elements, colors, features.
As Juli one of my Facebook friends commented: Internet Explorer is all flashy, Firefox is sexy, Opera is elegant, Chrome is utilitarian and Safari – trendy/hip.
Besides creating a visual resemblance based on the main colors, I have tried to reflect the style of each Internet browsers through the means of clothes, shoes, accessories, props and poses itself.

Here’s a funny clip from a Japanese prank show. They scare a poor guy with a fancy dinosaur costume. Ha, he’s so scared that I have to wonder if this is fake. You can see the legs of the costume wearer, after all. It’s still pretty entertaining, though, and gave me a chuckle.
Here’s something Game of Thrones fans should especially appreciate. Take a look at this amazing White Walker costume, by the crafty alaskandesign. She looks so scary, my goodness. This will look really great once she can pose in the snow.
Interesting fact: Instead of spending hours each time, putting on body makeup, she came up with an efficient idea. All the “skin” — latex, paint, kleenex — is applied to pantyhose. Now she can turn into a White Walker in just a few minutes time. Brilliant job!
The clever folks at CineFix have done it again. Here’s another awesome homemade trailer– this time they’ve recreated the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer from 1990. All the costumes and props were made from household products. Very creative!
Be sure to watch the side-by-side comparison below. Great job, Guys!

It’s safe to say the Internet is freaking over the surprising announcement that Ben Affleck will be the new Batman. Such big news! It didn’t take long for the memes to start popping up. Many of these are quite funny, but I feel bad for all the heat Affleck is catching.
I think old Ben will do alright. My biggest gripe with Bale’s Batman was the voice. The growly way he talked was kind of annoying, and I’m wondering how Ben Affleck will sound as the caped crusader. I wonder if he’ll use a voice modulator like The Hood does on CW’s Arrow? It will be interesting to find out.
It’s funny how many of these memes involve Matt Damon. All joking aside, he’s too old for Robin… but is a Nightwing role possible? I’d actually really like that, if they could somehow make it work. It’s going to be a long two years until this movie comes out! Good luck to you, Ben. You can do this.
This story gave me a chuckle. A basketball coach posted this to Reddit. At a basketball camp, the kids got a Free Dress day, where they didn’t have to wear their uniforms. As you can see, one child took this to the extreme, and showed up in a giant Jabba the Hutt costume. Ha, that’s hilarious! What a clown.
Back in 1925, photographer Joseph Rock took this shot of a Tibetian skeleton dancer. Wow, what an amazing costume.
Skeleton dancers were monks, taking on the role of deities whose job is to protect cemeteries, and remind the audience of their immortality. You can watch a modern version of this dance below, recorded in 2002.

This guy knows what’s up. Put on a silly costume, do a little dance, then upload it to YouTube. And now the world is a better place. Nice termite costume, Sir!
