Improv Everywhere Suits up for the Beach

by manny

Improv Everywhere recently performed another “mission” — this time by dressing up in formal attire and hitting the Brighton Beach at Coney Island!

For our latest mission we had several hundred agents spend a day at Coney Island / Brighton Beach wearing black tie attire. We covered a mile-long stretch of beach with a diverse group of people of all ages (from babies to sixty-somethings) laying out, playing games, and swimming in the ocean, all in formal wear. Agents were instructed to find cheap tuxedos and ball gowns at thrift stores for the occasion.

How funny!

Cat Dumps Old Lady into Trash

by manny

This video just TOTALLY made my day, it’s the funniest thing ever! I’m so glad the cat got its proper revenge.

Last week, the Internet blew up when a video was released of a British woman tossing a cat in the trash. The cat was found alive after 15 hours, but the entire world was outraged at the lady’s actions. Police had to offer her protection after she received hundreds of death threats.

It’s so funny that someone dressed up in a cat costume and made the above video.

Here is the original video. Is this lady crazy or what?

Big thanks to Jared for the tip!

Ladies, now you can wear a different mustache every day of the week! Clearly, Saturday is best because the Grandma is one cool mustache.

This funny gag gift sells for $5.95 on McPhee.com.

Everyone loves a mustache, but why do boys get to have all the fun? This set of seven stylish mustaches is made specifically to accentuate feminine features. Styles such as “The Grandma” and “The Frida” let you pick the fashionable facial hair to accessorize your look. Each furry lip ornament has adhesive backing and is made of synthetic hair in a girlish shade of pink. Goes great with almost any outfit!

Blackstar Warrior: A Star Wars Parody

by manny

Check out this trailer for a superfly version of Star Wars, starring none other than Lando Calrissian.

Wow, this is seriously awesome. I wish I knew more about this. Is this trailer possibly for a real movie? I sure hope so.

I do know that Lando is played by Leonard Roberts. You may recognize him as the soldier Forrest from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Who’s the baddest dude in the galaxy? Who’s slicker than Superfly, cooler than Captain Kirk? The Blackstar Warrior, that’s who.

Almost Transformers Disguised as Appliances

by manny

This video has been out for a while, but I hadn’t seen it until today. Almost Transformers disguises themselves as household appliances, pretty funny!

This is from The Merrick & Rosso Show which appears on the Comedy Channel in Australia. I think their transforming costumes are pretty awesome. Well done!

Costume prankster Remim Gaillard is at it again! This time, he hangs out in a river wearing a beaver costume, and surprises innocent kayakers.

This is great! Can you imagine being in the middle of nowhere, and suddenly seeing a giant beaver costume in the water? Too funny!

Street Fighter High: The Musical

by manny

Watch the trailer for the upcoming Street Fighter High sequel. This time the gang will be singing and dancing!

Last spring, the Street Fighter High crew made a funny 10-minute video about the Street Fighter characters going to high school.

The musical sequel should be released this fall. Can’t wait to see it!

I was contacted by Joey, one of the crew members, who let me know about a gallery of on set photos. Thanks for the email, Joey!

Looks like you guys are having WAY too much fun!

Zombie Costumes Create Confusion After Car Crash

by manny

I’m sorry… car crashes are no laughing matter, but this is too funny.

KGW.com is reporting a zombie car crash that happened last night in Portland, OR.

All the people in the car were wearing zombie costumes when it crashed on the freeway. The victims suffered “non-life-threatening injuries,” but they confused onlookers with all of their gory makeup!

A car full of people dressed as zombies crashed on Interstate 84 near downtown Portland on Friday, causing initial confusion by people who witnessed the crash.

Police said that in their investigation they learned that the people inside the car were dressed as zombie costumes and they were headed to a party at the time of the crash. Sgt. Greg Stewart said people who witnessed the crash initially thought the victims’ injuries were much more serious, because of the zombie costumes.

“We’re glad that everyone is alive, despite being ‘undead’,” Sgt. Stewart said, referring to the costumes.

I’m glad everyone is okay!

LOL, can you imagine the confusion? Oh, man….
