LARP (live action roleplaying game) just looks so awesome. Large groups of people get together and dress in Fantasy costumes, and stage battles using foam weapons.
Today I thought it would be fun to look at a few LARP videos, inspired by ToplessRobot who posted this LARP Rap earlier today.
Heh, that’s a great video, the Dark Elf is cool. Funny stuff.
Here’s a more serious look at LARP. This is a trailer for the Battle of Azeroth and the costumes are just insane. So cool!
This next video shows a group of wizards and warriors trying to take down an Ogre. I love the added special effects that show the magic spells. Very creative! I would feel bad for the big guy, but I hear ogre’s aren’t very nice.
Last but not least, here’s a wonderful LARP clip from the movie Role Models. The main characters form their own “country” based on KISS costumes. Very funny! If you ever get a chance to see this movie, I highly recommend it.
