Hannah Montana Changes Costumes, Gets Body Double, Makes Moms and Kids Mad…

I’m kind of embarrassed that this is considered “popular” news.
A number of credible news sources reported today that Miley Cyrus, otherwise known as the youth pop icon Hannah Montana, was caught using body doubles in some shows. Why does this make the front page of CNN? Well, Cyrus moves parents to flip open their wallets for their eager tweens. So then, why can’t Cyrus just do the gig herself?
Turns out, she needs a moment to change costumes.
While the double is holding a microphone for her less than a minute, the girl motions like she is singing. However, a rep for Miley said the switch was only for costume purposes.
What makes dollars, matters. Next time I’m so popular that I don’t even have a moment to step out to change, I’ll be sure to wear something real flashy. Likely with a slew of assistants, makeup artists, and family members, Cyrus is able to pull it off almost as fast as Christian Bale could in The Prestige. Or, maybe she’s just wearing the wrong costumes.

Ok folks…..I have just one thing to say about this whole thing about Hannah Montana aka Miley Cyrus having a body double….I just wanted to say why discriminate against only her. Have you all seen the action movies and movies that have stunts…well here is a clue the actors and actresses have body doubles to stand in for them…they are called stunt men/women…these people are suposed to look like the actors/actresses that they are doing the stunts for. Do you also know that some actors and actresses have body doubles for nude scenes?!!!! That is right…the men and women pay people that look like them to show their tushes and other parts so the real actors/actresses dont. Ok I think I am done! Just wanted to get that out there….

Big deal! I say that because of the way this body-double momentary switch episode was done. I wish it wasn’t part of the show, but it was. And so the producers should learn their lesson never to do something like this again. However, because Miley did not use a body double because she was unable to deliver live vocals or anything like that, it’s no big deal. The media should just drop this and stop reporting this in such a way that it is bad! It is not! If they want to report it, explain it. Do not try to take away a wholesome kids entertainer from us due to some programming miscue.
